  • To provide a nutritious, home made and well balanced diet for your child’s individual and cultural needs. Encouraging independent skills i.e. putting on aprons, washing hands. Also promoting general table manners and social skills during meal and snack times.
  • To provide your child with an individual key person who will support your child and family through the settling in process. They also complete your child’s developmental folder including regular observations. We take the greatest of care when appointing nursery nurses and provide regular updates on further training.
  • Toys, resources and equipment in our environment are checked daily to ensure they are clean and safe for the children.
  • To plan and create an environment that is caring and stimulating to your child’s individual needs.
  • Encourage children to further their development in toilet training.
  • Prepare/ write out short and long term planning to relate to monthly/ weekly topics.
  • To keep observations, records and any information on children strictly confidential at all times.
  • Ensure and promote children’s personal hygiene i.e. washing hands before mealtimes and after visiting the toilet.
  • The nursery is equipped to run a pre-school
    syllabus for 3 months to 5 years with
    regular OFSTED inspections.
