Parent Relations
When it comes to your child, as parents you are the experts.
It is our intention at Tudor Manor Day Nursery to work in partnership with you to enable your child to progress to their full potential.
Our aim is to support you as your child’s first and most important educator, involving you in all aspects of your child’s development and care. Also building strong relationships with you to ensure both you and your child feel secure within our setting and with the service we provide.
Settling in session
All new children and their families have free settling in sessions. We offer three to four sessions, more if required. This gives both you and your child the opportunity to build positive relationships with your key person and to become familiar with your new environment.
Home visits
We offer home visits to aid the settling in process. Your child’s keyperson and a member of management will visit your home to spend quality time with your child in their environment.
Four month reviews / Parent consultation
Every four months you are invited to have one to one time with your child’s keyperson to celebrate your child’s achievements and to share their needs. Also working closely with you to learn about your child’s interests and strengths, to identify next steps in their learning.
Tapestry
Tapestry is an innovative, interactive online learning journal. It allows us to capture your child’s experiences and achievements including pictures and video clips., sharing these with you throughout the day.
Parentmail
We use parentmail to communicate messages and information to parents
One to one support sessions
We offer one to one support and guidance private sessions for parents in every aspect whether it be sleep routines, weaning/ healthy diets, toilet training or behavioural management. Special educational needs children have one to one support & regular target review meetings with our trained SENCO.
Parent stay and play sessions
Frequently throughout the year we invite parents into the nursery for stay and play sessions, giving you the opportunity to be activitly involved in your child's nursery experinces and celebrations
BBQ fun day
Our annual BBQ fun day engages all our children and their families in a fun filled afternoon. Giving you the opportunity to meet other families and take part in fun games with your child.
Christmas light switch on and carols
We have a large Christmas light display and invite our families and the whole community to join us for our big count down with switching on our lights and celebrating with our children singing Christmas carols
